Most of us know Susan for her recent 13 years as Anchor of the Fox 61 News at Ten where she was honored with several Emmys for her anchoring and reporting by the New England Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the Connecticut Associated Press.
Susan has also received the "Michael Schoenbrun Excellence in Television Reporting" Award, the National Multiple Sclerosis Public Education Award, and a Silver Telly Award.
Susan’s career includes anchoring newscasts for ABC and FOX affiliates in North Carolina, Maine, West Virginia, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Today, Susan runs her own business as an Independent Sales Consultant presenting a line of exclusive designer women’s clothing.
She is also featured in a commercial for Rosenberg Orthodontics running on NBC and plays a part in the independent film “The Last Rung on the Ladder”, adapted from a Stephen King short story scheduled for international release in November, 2011.
An active volunteer, Susan served on the Board of Directors for the Central and Northeast Connecticut United Way for 9 years. She is currently on the Board of Directors for West Hartford Community Television, a Sunday School teacher and Elementary School Tutor.
A native of Garden City, NY, Susan is a graduate of Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA with a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish, where she studied during her junior year. She and her husband enjoy living in central Connecticut with their daughter and son.
